Jonas’s eyes were still closed after his orgasm when he felt Nicky push him to his side and turn around, wrapping himself around Jonas. His mouth was invaded by the young man’s tongue and locked in a searing kiss while aftershocks wracked his body because Nicky was rubbing their combined cocks with his hand.
“So sensitive,” Nicky whispered against Jonas’s mouth.
Jonas could only nod as he was still trying to catch his breath.
He was relieved that Nicky had clearly enjoyed this uninvited little stint and that he’d obviously been well aware of what had happened.
Nicky’s hands were caressing him as lethargy overtook him. “I never knew I’d enjoy this so much,” Nicky murmured, his eyes still closed.
    “Enjoy what?” Jonas asked languidly.

“Sleeping next to my lover, being woken up just because he was horny and wanted my body,” Nicky answered. “I could very easily get used to this, Jonas.”
Jonas knew he should answer “well, you better not get used to it too much,” but he couldn’t because his heart leapt when Nicky spoke those words. He wanted to get out, run, but didn’t have the will as Nicky snuggled closer.
“Maybe we need to clean up a bit,” he suggested half-heartedly, but Nicky didn’t budge, his breathing now slow and his body limp in Jonas’s arms.
    Jonas was wide awake, though.
He couldn’t lose his heart, not to a client. What kind of future did they have together? Oh, he used to pay me for my services, but now I fuck him for free? Besides, Nicky was a spoiled brat. Maybe he was just on his best behavior when they were together. Maybe he would show his true colors once the novelty wore off. Not to mention the fact that Jonas was almost old enough to be Nicky’s father. What could a beautiful, talented, worldly young man like Nicky possibly want with a body for hire past his prime?
Jonas knew what had to be done. London Fashion Week was almost over. Later that day, Nicky would present his men’s line, and then the circus would pack up and move back to Paris, leaving Jonas behind. His fee for this week would be enough for him to go on vacation for a few months, preferably somewhere half way around the world. He would simply not answer Nicky’s phone calls, or maybe tell him he had other plans when he called to arrange a meeting. He needed to put some distance between himself and the young man now sleeping in his arms before it was too late.

IT HAD taken Jonas some time to fall asleep only to be awakened by whispering.
Nicky was still partially in his arms, but he was moving around.
“Just give me a minute,” Nicky said, trying to keep his voice down but obviously slightly annoyed.
“I wouldn’t want you to be late, Nicky. You may come across as a spoiled child, but there’s one thing they can’t accuse you of and that’s unprofessional behavior.”
    Was the other voice Tanna?
Jonas decided to pretend to still be asleep. Tanna had clearly come to wake Nicky up, and he was interested in the extent of their relationship. Obviously it extended right into Nicky’s bedroom.
He heard Nicky giggle. “I’m sorry, Tanna, but I didn’t get a lot of sleep last night. Apparently I’m irresistible.” There was a pause and Jonas needed all his restraint not to open his eyes to see the look on Tanna’s face. He heard Nicky speak even more quietly. “He woke me up in the middle of the night to make love to me.” Now Tanna giggled too. “Well, good for you; now get your lazy arse out of bed and get ready!”
Nicky moved away from him and Jonas contemplated “waking up” too. He decided against it. Being alone with Nicky meant they’d Façade

have to talk, and he wanted to postpone that for a while, so he rolled onto his stomach and tried to relax. He heard the shower and Nicky’s electric toothbrush. The young man was apparently in good spirits as he was humming some song while moving around the apartment. It never ceased to amaze Jonas how quickly Nicky could get ready in the morning, and no longer than twenty minutes after waking up, he had left and the room became quiet again.

THE car to pick him up was waiting at the curb when Jonas walked out of the apartment building. He had taken his time this morning, grateful for the peace and quiet, to make some overdue telephone calls and other arrangements. He’d had a late brunch, not quite as elaborate as before, but then the little pink Post-It note
