me."
"Okay," I breathed out. I didn't want to argue with him.
    "Did Christophe hurt you?"
"No, just hung me up in his S&M room."
There was a long silence where I almost fell asleep.
    "Pardon me?"
I explained quickly about being shackled from the ceiling, giggling without meaning to. I had left serious and entered giddy, and there was no going back.
"He didn't do anything to you."
"Like what? Rape me? No, sir, he did not."
He took in a sharp breath. "I need to see you."
"You know, you worrying about me is real nice," I told him.
"Maybe we could hang out tomorrow, if you wanted... if that'd be okay."
"Jin." His voice cracked. "I want to see you now... right now."
I was too tired even to move, but my cock certainly had other ideas. The longer the man talked to me, the harder I got. Just thinking about his mouth on me was making me squirm.
    "Jin?"

    "God," I groaned.
    "What? Are you hurt?"
"No, I just... I wanna go to bed with you so bad."
    "Do you?"
Oh, God, what had I done? I was stunned. I had just let the words fall out of me. Could I make no good decisions when it came to Logan Church? Was I completely incapable of rational thought where the man was concerned? The entire night had been a series of bad choices, one after another, culminating in sleep-deprived confessions. I needed to cut my losses. I hung up, turned off the light, and rolled over. My last thought was how the man had looked as he bent his head to kiss me.

Chapter Eight
The morning had come and gone by the time my eyes finally drifted open. Used to checking my phone for the time, I looked around the living room until I saw the digital clock on Rick's DVD player. When I realized that it was after three in the afternoon, I rose like Lazarus to stagger into the bathroom. I needed to get home. On the street fifteen minutes later behind my oversized sunglasses, I felt anonymous, and there was something very comforting about the feeling. The momentary thought crossed my mind that I could easily just slip town without anyone knowing. It was surprising, and telling, that I felt anxious with just the whisper in my head of abandoning Logan. My heart hurt just thinking about not seeing the man.
In the cold air, the walk from Rick's place to mine left me frozen, but after a shower and a change of clothes, the world seemed nicer, gentler and not as glaring. I didn't want to leave, but there was no food, and more importantly, no source of caffeine, in my apartment. I had to go back out in search of coffee. I was surprised when I opened my front door to find Yuri Kosa.
"Oh, hey." I smiled up at him.
He just stared, his eyes all over me.
    "You alright?"
"Jin," he breathed out, slowly putting his hand on my shoulder. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, just starving," I said gently, patting his hand on my shoulder before I moved away, slipping by him toward the stairs. "You wanna eat with me?"
He caught me at the top step, turning me back around to face him. "Jin, I need to take you to Logan. We'll eat at his home."
"No, then his mother's gonna hafta cook," I said, lifting his hand off me and starting down the stairs. "First food, then the car ride."
His exasperated sigh let me know that I had won the argument.
Yuri wanted to know everything that had happened and listened very intently as I explained about Christophe's dungeon, the club, and the murderous intentions of his yareah. I was chuckling when I noticed his face.
    "What's wrong?"
"You think that's funny? They kidnap you and chain you up and plan to kill you, but to you it's all fun and games."
"Lighten up." I yawned, pointing across the street to the diner. "If I got upset every time someone beat me, or chased me, or tried to rape me, I'd be crying in my cereal every morning. No one likes a whiner."
He grabbed my arm and spun me around to face him. "You are now the reah of the tribe of Mafdet. Anyone who touches you will answer first to Logan and then to me."
I suddenly had a gnawing ache in the pit of my stomach.
"Did Logan do something to Christophe because of me?"
"Logan did something to Christophe because of what he did, not something you did."

"Oh God, what'd he do?" I was more annoyed than worried. I never wanted anyone punished in my name, like I was perfect.
Yuri's eyes were cold and hard. "Christophe
