this time, though, the commitment to find a way to build a life together much stronger than their respective egos. The fact that they were both naked and fairly aroused by hours of kissing and touching probably helped in that respect.
“You have no idea how much I love this body of yours, Jonas,” Nicky murmured in between his slow licking of Jonas’s nipples until they were both reddened and hard.
“Yes, I do,” Jonas answered, after which he realized the humor in his answer. He laughed when he saw Nicky look at him with an interested face. “I mean I’m flattered, because I know how much I like yours and mine has so much more wear.” Nicky smiled too now. “Old clothes become softer with age. If you take good care of them, they become very comfortable and easy to wear. You feel loved and cared for when you wear old clothes.”
“Nice analogy,” Jonas admitted. “I like fairly new clothes. The fabric isn’t frayed at the edges, the seams are still intact. It feels like it’s been worn before but it’s not old yet.”
“Guess it’s good we don’t both like the same things, hey?” Nicky mused, before stretching up to kiss Jonas again. “I’ve decided to delegate more of the day to day work of Maison Bryant,” Nicky added, suddenly changing the subject right after he stopped kissing.
Jonas wondered when he’d decided that, before his little stalking excursion, or after it? Or was this a spur of the moment thing?
“Tanna has the same training as me, and I know Maia’s been wanting to do more than create fabrics for years.” 164

Jonas hugged Nicky closer. “I thought Tanna was the business wizard. I didn’t think she made the creative decisions.” Nicky looked up at him. “That’s by choice. She graduated just like me, but only barely. She isn’t as creative with fabrics as she is with marketing, media exposure, and paperwork. She’s the one who books the fashion shows and the models as you know, and she makes sure that everyone does their job. I’d be totally lost without her, because I hate all that. And Maia does have the creativity, but I’m such a control freak I never let her take any responsibilities until now. Jonas?” Nicky’s voice changed all of a sudden, from rambling about his job to the very curious way he spoke his lover’s name.
“Does talking about Tanna turn you on?” Jonas knew exactly where Nicky’s hand was and what he’d discovered under the sheets that were wrapped around them in the cooling evening. He turned both of them around until Nicky was flat on his back with Jonas full length on top of him. “ You turn me on, Nicky.”
Nicky giggled as much as he could with the weight of Jonas’s body on top of him. He spread his legs wantonly and let Jonas grip his forearms and move them until they were above his head.
“Now I have you right where I want you,” Jonas groaned. He started playfully biting at Nicky’s lips. “You don’t have to go anywhere, do you? This week?”
He saw Nicky’s face turn from playful to being more cautious.
“No, nothing special going on. There’s a party somewhere that I would have gone to if we hadn’t… but no, I had nothing planned.”
“Good,” Jonas replied good-humored, “because I want to mark you.”
“Mark me?”
Nicky tensed up, so Jonas smiled. “Trust me? You know I won’t hurt you, right?”
Nicky smiled back and Jonas started kissing him, still holding his arms over his head. Near his jaw Jonas nicked him slightly with his teeth, not biting with any sort of force, but his lover seemed to Façade

respond to it nevertheless. Or maybe it was the grinding of his hips against Nicky’s groin that was making the younger man moan. Jonas continued his exploration of Nicky’s neck, let his tongue roam over the large artery pulsing underneath the skin. He reveled in the fact that Nicky stretched his neck to accommodate him, and stopped for a moment to chuckle.
“What?” Nicky asked, looking more amused than annoyed.
“I was thinking of biting you, like on the cover of those cheesy vampire romance novels.”
A broad smile appeared around Nicky’s mouth. “To suck my blood?”
“Mmm, maybe not,” Jonas conceded. “But I still want to make love to you.”
“Yeah, fuck me,” Nicky chuckled.
“No,” Jonas said softly as he rubbed his forehead against Nicky’s eyebrows. “Make love, not fuck,” he said softly. “What we did out there earlier was fucking. I
