Jessup, Bob (witch): Bob is one of the three witches Amelia hires to do the ectoplasmic reconstruction at Hadley’s apartment with her. Although he looks somewhat like a Mormon missionary, Bob is actually a hairdresser with a sardonic, intellectual sexiness that catches Amelia’s attention. They indulge in a night of sex afterward, rousing the next afternoon in time to alert the queen’s headquarters that Sookie and Quinn have been kidnapped. Bob stays with Amelia again the night of the queen’s reception, and their play takes an unexpected downturn when Amelia mistakenly transforms him into a cat. When Amelia moves to Bon Temps, Bob lives as a cat with Sookie and Amelia until Amelia’s mentor, Octavia Fant, is able to transform him back to human. While in feline form, he misses the catastrophe of Hurricane Katrina, and upon his return to human form, he leaves almost immediately to reestablish contact with his family and friends.
After finding that the aunt and uncle who raised him are safe in Natchez, Bob eventually wends his way back to New Orleans, taking a job at the Happy Cutter and going to the Genuine Magic Shop just three blocks away to ask about Amelia. They reestablish their relationship. He joins his girlfriend when she travels to Bon Temps to renew the wards around Sookie’s house, and he participates in the ceremony to break Sookie’s blood bond with Eric. Jock (vampire): No last name given. New Fangtasia employee Jock worked for Victor in Reno before moving to Shreveport to tend bar after Felicia’s death. He is there to take up her role as a spy. He is on the job when Bubba sings for Victor and naturally fights on Victor’s side. Although he is emasculated by Indira during the melee, he still manages to stun her with a blow to the head. He is distracted by Sookie before he can continue his attack, giving Indira time to recover and stake him. (Dies DR)
Jodi (vampire): No last name given. Vampire Jodi breaks off one of fellow vampire Michael’s canines with pliers while he sleeps after he abducts and tortures the sister of one of her human employees. Sued by Michael and brought before vampire judges, including Bill and Dahlia, at the summit, Jodi pleads her case, wins, and is allowed to stake an unrepentant Michael. (ATD)
Joe: No last name given. Joe works at the Pyramid and calls the rooms to notify them of misplaced luggage that needs to be personally collected. When Sookie tries to read him while she locates a suitcase supposedly belonging to the Louisiana vampire party, she finds that Joe essentially has a metaphysical helmet around his mind, blocking his thoughts.
