immediately loosening his grip.
Gable leaned his forehead against Flynn‟s. He was panting heavily. “Don‟t apologize. I want you to fuck me.” Gable immediately kissed Flynn again, as if he wanted to stop Flynn from protesting, but now it was Flynn‟s turn to retreat.
“Gabe?” Flynn tried to look Gable in the eye, but Gable averted his gaze. It wasn‟t that he didn‟t want to make love to Gable; in fact, he was incredibly turned on and he knew his body showed all the signs of it. But Flynn didn‟t see the same reactions in Gable, making him wonder why Gable had asked him.
“Flynn, please. Don‟t make me beg for it. I need to feel you,” Gable murmured before kissing Flynn again.
Flynn didn‟t need to be asked twice. He wanted to feel Gable too, wanted to recapture that one night they‟d really connected physically. It had been in this bed and Flynn remembered it vividly, despite the fact it 131

was months ago and surrounded by two less-fortunate bouts of lovemaking.
The abstinence made his power to resist Gable dwindle, and Gable‟s hands on him made the nagging feeling that Gable was only doing this to please him fade quickly.
“Okay,” Flynn finally whispered, feeling the urgency of his body‟s needs.
Gable turned around, settling on his side with his back toward Flynn. It wasn‟t Flynn‟s favorite position, but it did mimic the way they‟d made love here before, so Flynn took the lube out of the bedside drawer and molded himself against Gable‟s back. He kissed his neck and felt Gable lower his pajama bottoms.
“You know I don‟t need much prep. Just fuck me, please.” Gable‟s hand between their bodies was making it crystal clear to Flynn that he wanted this desperately, and Flynn was beyond protesting. He slicked up his erection with the lube and rubbed it over Gable‟s puckered opening.
    “Yeah, like that,” Gable moaned.
It was no surprise to Flynn that he easily slipped inside. He was desperately trying not to give in to his body, which demanded that he thrust deeper. Gable turned his torso toward Flynn and kissed him, making the heat rise even more. Flynn let his hand wander over Gable‟s chest to his belly, but was swatted away.
“No,” Gable whispered, his voice somewhat strained, at the same time pushing his ass back to urge Flynn on.
Their position was a bit awkward but it did make it less objectionable for Flynn, who always missed kissing when he was spooning.
Gable hitched up his top leg. “Come on, Flynn, Show me what you got.”
Flynn pushed in a few times. Gable groaned in response and Flynn stopped holding back. His body was demanding some sort of release, but as Gable swatted his hand away again, Flynn started feeling like he always did during a one-night stand. He listened to his body, but knew already that his orgasm wouldn‟t be a satisfying one. He was 132

beyond stopping, though, and hoped he could still make it good for Gable. If only Gable would let him.
“Please tell me you‟re close too?” Flynn murmured when they came up for air in between kisses.
Gable didn‟t respond immediately, but Flynn could tell from his expression that the answer was “no.” Still, Gable pulled him closer, and Flynn was already too far gone to stop himself from coming. As his hips reflexively thrust forward a few times, he felt the familiar tension build up in his groin and, despite feeling selfish again, he came.
Like Flynn predicted, it wasn‟t very satisfying. He was panting from the exertion, but in no way riding the blissful cloud he had been aiming for. Seeing the rather sad, defeated look on Gable‟s face completed the picture, and the air seemed to have been sucked out of the room all of a sudden. Flynn couldn‟t breathe. All he could do was pull back and run. Get out.
Flynn got out of bed and grabbed some clothes from the chair. He ran out of the room and down the stairs, then out the front door. It was cold out, and dark, but he didn‟t care. He needed air and he needed solitude.

“FLYNN, come inside. You already have a cold and I don‟t want you to get sick.”
    “Go back upstairs. I‟m fine.”
“I came all the way down here, I‟m not about to crawl back up there without apologizing, but I want you to come inside first.”
“Just give me a minute. I need some time to think.” Flynn sneezed, making it all the more clear to him that Gable was the rational one and he should listen to him.
