simple touches.
Bram leaned into Ethan even more. He was gradually getting harder. “If you keep this up, it will end exactly like this.”
“Yeah?” The hand on Bram’s belly rose up to find Bram’s nipple and tweak it, which sent a ripple of tension, good tension, through him. “Would you like to come, Bram?”
“What…kind of question is that?”
“A silly one.”
Bram was losing his breath. That hand cupped his balls one last time before it slid up and pumped him, strong, even strokes from base to head, and even though Bram had thought he was too relaxed to come again, his back arched, the pleasure-tension running up his spine as he spurted into Ethan’s hand. Ethan didn’t stop pumping though and Bram began to shake in Ethan’s embrace because of his oversensitive cock.
“Too much.”
“Yeah?” But Ethan stopped, wiped his hand on his shorts and placed it on Bram’s hip, turning him so he could pull him close and hold him tight.
Bram was about to protest that he hadn’t cleaned up when he just shut his mouth and enjoyed the afterglow and Ethan’s body around him. Ethan was clearly aware that Bram had come.
“I want to tell you something.” Ethan’s words sounded a little tentative, and Bram struggled to come back to alertness. He kissed Ethan’s neck and pulled away enough that they could look at each other.
“I, um…” Ethan glanced away and laughed, self-deprecation there. “Somehow this is easier to say in theory.”
Bram was fully alert. “You can tell me anything.”
“Well. It hasn’t been like this for me before.”
If Bram could have been more sure of what Ethan meant, he could have responded in an effective way. As it was, he blinked.
“Of course it’s been eight years, it’s normal I would have changed, even if I haven’t been human.” Ethan frowned. “I tended to go after older men and there were certain expectations that went with that.”
Bram felt out of his league, trying to figure out what Ethan was telling him. “Were they not good to you?”
“No,” Ethan replied immediately. “It wasn’t that. I was careful about who I chose to be with. I went after the nice ones. I made sure I sincerely liked them too.” Ethan rolled his eyes, not at Bram but at himself. “I didn’t make much money or anything, Bram.” He paused before he blurted, “They’d support me. I’m uneducated, as you know, and was not rolling in money at twenty.”
Bram snuggled closer.
“I’m telling you this for two reasons. Liam—” Ethan stopped as Bram no doubt stiffened in his arms. “You don’t like Liam?”
“He seemed fine,” said Bram in a neutral tone.
Ethan eyed Bram, unsure. “Well. Liam said you might think this was somehow one-sided because…”
Bram gestured for Ethan to continue.
“Because you were the pack’s omega.”
Heat rose in Bram’s face, and Ethan stroked his cheeks and kissed them, as if to take away the shame. “Do they choose the prettiest wolf to be omega, or what? I doubt you were the smallest or the biggest or the whateverest.”
“I was nothing special,” Bram assured him. Ethan waited and Bram sighed, before he gave more of an explanation. Not his favorite topic in the world but Ethan had asked and Ethan deserved to know the truth. “I had no protectors. I didn’t know my father, and my mother left a long time ago, left me with my uncle. He didn’t care if I was omega or not. My control issues were frowned upon. All these things added up, I guess.” Bram shrugged. He could talk as if it wasn’t personal, but it never felt that way.
“I don’t want you ever to go back to that pack, Bram. Even if you leave me.”
“God. I’m not going to leave you for the pack .” Bram almost spit out the word.
“Good.” Ethan was tracing patterns on Bram’s back again. “The other reason I wanted to tell you about me and my previous relationships was, well… I think you should understand how little I have to offer, outside myself.”
“You’ve given me everything!”
Ethan laughed. “It feels like that right now, doesn’t it? You’re a sweetheart, Bram. But, if you leave, I’ll understand. You’ve got a lot going for you—”
Bram pushed back from Ethan, angry. “Stop that. Stop talking like that.”
Ethan’s gaze saw right through him. “Why? I get the feeling you plan on leaving. Am I wrong?”
Bram pulled in a long breath, trying to buy time, trying to figure out what to say without lying. “I need to clean up,” he said
