Love Means No Boundaries - Andrew Grey
barely looked at it.
Len’s words the first time he’d been thrown from a horse popped into his head. “You can’t be ruled by fear and what-ifs.” Len had made him get right back in the saddle.
Kicking back the stand, he walked the bike outside. The clouds had parted and everything felt new and clean, the sun sending bright rays that shone and glistened in the damp air.
Methodically, he inspected the motorcycle, checking the fluids and filling the gas tank. He kept telling himself that he had to do this. Len would have told him he’d waited too long already.
Taking a deep breath and slipping on his helmet before throwing his leg over and resting his butt on the seat, Joey steadied the bike between his legs as he kicked back the stand. Turning the key, he heard the starter turn over, but the engine didn’t catch.
Trying again, he pumped the throttle and turned the key again, and the engine roared to life.
He almost shut it off and walked away, but instead he sat on the rest and eased out the clutch and he was moving down the drive and onto the street.
Opening it up, he glided down the empty road, the air buffeting his body. The nervousness was still there, but so was something else: the freedom and exhilaration he’d felt whenever he rode. But now it was tempered with caution. “I can do this.” Turning the corner, he rode toward town before turning again and completing a country circuit back to the farm.

When he pulled in, he saw Len standing in the farmyard with Robbie standing next to him, huge grins on their faces. As he pulled up, Chris came out of the house, joining Len before both men waved and got in their car, heading home. Robbie was grinning at him, practically bouncing from foot to foot.
Joey slipped off his helmet. “Would you really like a ride?” He turned off the engine.
“I really would.”
He wasn’t sure how he felt about it. What if something happened? He could never forgive himself if Robbie got hurt. “I’m not sure it’s a good idea.” Joey’s stomach started doing flip-flops at the thought. But it was seeing that look of expectant excitement on Robbie’s face fade that made him relent.
“All right, a short ride. Let me get the other helmet.” Joey put down the stand, got off the bike, and went into the equipment shed, returning with a white helmet. “I’ll help you with it, but you need to take off your glasses.” Gently he slipped the helmet on Robbie’s head, fastening the chin strap and lowering the sun visor before helping Robbie onto the back of the motorcycle seat. “Once I get on, put your feet here.” He placed Robbie’s foot on the holders. “And hold on to me just like you do when we ride Twilight.”
“Okay.”
Robbie got on the cycle and felt Robbie grip his hips.
Checking to make sure Robbie’s feet were in the right place, he started the engine and kicked back the stand before slowly moving the bike forward.
There was nothing coming, so Joey turned onto the street and accelerated, feeling Robbie grip him tighter. He didn’t go very fast, and he could hear Robbie say something. Not sure, Joey pulled off the road. “Are you okay?”
The helmet nodded vigorously. “This is incredible.” 92
Love Means … NO Boundaries
“Okay, hang on.” Joey pulled back onto the road and opened her up, keeping a careful eye on the road and their speed. He wasn’t taking any
chances. He had precious cargo behind him, after all. It felt good to have the familiar feeling of power beneath him, and he loved the feeling of Robbie behind him.
Turning north, he headed along the country road, driving over rolling hills, keeping an eye on everything. Once he relaxed a little, he started enjoying the ride. Then he felt a new sensation pressing against his backside. Robbie was hard, his erection pressing insistently against Joey’s butt. Damn, his Robbie was a daredevil.
His Robbie… he pushed the thought away and concentrated on the road.
Joey wanted to ask how Robbie was doing, but the hardness against him told him pretty much what he needed to know. He turned the bike again and remained at a slow speed. There was a blind curve up ahead, and he took it with care and increased speed, throttling up just as a car pulled out of a driveway ahead of him.
Joey slowed but the car wasn’t picking up speed, and he felt a tingling and tightening throughout his entire being. It was like his body remembered and reacted.
