    ‘Bunting’ is the author’s own translation of a story in Welsh that won the Short Story Prize at the National Eisteddfod in Cardiff in 2008. ‘TV Land’ first appeared in Urban Welsh: New Welsh Fiction , (Parthian, 2005) edited by Lewis Davies.
‘The Pit’ was included in the anthology Sing Sorrow Sorrow , (Seren, 2010) edited by Gwen Davies.
‘Picture Perfect’ first appeared under the title ‘The Communist’ in Evan Walters: Moments of Vision (Seren, 2011) edited by Barry Plummer. Some of the stories in this volume were written courtesy of a bursary awarded by Academy, now called Literature Wales, which is gratefully acknowledged.
