‟em,” he said with a wink, gesturing toward Gable‟s jeans.
Gable unbuckled his belt and lifted his ass off the ground as Flynn pulled his jeans down.
Licking his fingers, Flynn smiled at Gable and inserted them between Gable‟s legs, making him jump just a little. “You? Sensitive when I come close to your favorite body part? What have I done to you?”
Gable sighed and pulled Flynn down so he could kiss him. “Don‟t stop,” he whispered against Flynn‟s mouth. He sucked in air as Flynn‟s fingers breached him. “Fuck me?” he begged.
Flynn smiled, their lips still only a fraction of an inch apart. “I hate to admit it, but I can‟t yet. Doesn‟t mean I‟m not going to try, though.” He twisted his fingers and made Gable gasp again. “Right there? That the spot you like?” Gable could only nod as he repeated the action. “Of course I know exactly where your spot is.” Gable‟s breathing sped up along with Flynn‟s ministrations until all the muscles in his body tensed up and he came all over the bottom of his hitched-up coat.

“I LOVE you,” Gable said as they were slowly making their way down to the house, both of them sitting on T.C.‟s back with Brenner trailing behind them, Gable‟s prosthesis still firmly strapped to Brenner‟s saddle.
“I know,” Flynn answered, squeezing Gable‟s chest and pulling him even closer. “I love you too,” he whispered. “Wanna go upstairs and….”
    “Make out?” Gable answered, chuckling.
Flynn rolled his eyes. “You‟re such a kid sometimes.” 169

    Chapter 22

“YOU are like a kid again and you make me feel old,” Flynn pouted, although he clearly didn‟t mean it.
Gable pulled him closer and kissed him again, like they had been doing all afternoon. They‟d gone riding that morning, picking out the horses that were ready for training and separating them from the herd, but after lunch they‟d ended up in their bedroom for some strange reason. Flynn suspected that Gable had planned it all along, but he wasn‟t complaining. They were, after all, making up for lost time.
“So, are you enjoying our anniversary?”
“Anniversary?” Flynn asked, truly perplexed. He searched his mind, first to remember what day it was, then to try and figure out what made it so special.
“Exactly a year ago you walked into my barn and asked for a job.”
“Doesn‟t seem like that long. Seems….”
    “Longer?”
Flynn chuckled. “Seems like only yesterday I first met you. I don‟t think I saw you smile once that first week.” Gable smiled now, though. “I was so used to being on my own, and frankly, after Grant, I thought I‟d live out my life that way.”
“You seem okay around Grant now?”
Gable shrugged. “I suppose I forgave him. And Hunter‟s a good friend. If you‟re right about him, I‟ll have to deal with Grant a lot more from now on. Too bad I never knew about Hunter before. I wouldn‟t mind….”

Flynn thumped him in the chest. Hard. “That‟s not why I told you!”
Gable collapsed back to the bed in a fit of giggles. Every time he looked at Flynn‟s serious face, he laughed harder, until Flynn couldn‟t hold back either.
“You just want to get back into Grant‟s pants,” Flynn teased.
That made Gable turn serious again. “No, I don‟t. Grant is ancient history. If he and Hunter are happy together, then I can live with that, but I don‟t trust him enough to want him back.”
“Good,” Flynn answered, snuggling closer. He left his hand drift down Gable‟s chest, trying to gauge whether his lover was ready for another round, and smiled when he discovered that he was. “If I had known all that abstinence would yield these results….” He didn‟t finish, but instead kissed Gable passionately. His body reacted accordingly and within no time, he was hard again and raring to go.
Gable was already moaning under Flynn‟s ministrations when they heard the front door slam shut.
Flynn immediately looked up. “Did we leave that open?”
“Bridget would be barking if we had trespassers,” Gable said, equally worried.
“She doesn‟t bark if it‟s Calley,” Flynn commented.
“Damn!” Gable cursed. “She can‟t catch us in bed in the middle of the day. We‟ll never hear the end of it!” He jumped out of bed, then realized he was one leg short and sat down again to put on his prosthesis. After pulling up his jeans, he found he had a difficult time
