insides of her legs the moment she
stood, and she wobbled unsteadily as she tried to gain her footing.
“Go clean up,” he said huskily. “Leave the plug in until I take it out.”
On shaking legs, she went into his bathroom, the plug burning and arousing her all
over again as she walked. The pressure was overwhelming and wonderful.
The minute she walked back out of the bathroom, Gabe was there waiting for her. He
hauled her against his chest and gave her a punishing kiss that left her breathless.
“Do not disobey me again,” he warned.
“Sorry,” she said softly. “I forgot.”
His eyes gleamed as he stared down into her face. “Bet you won’t forget next time.”

chapter twenty
Sulking was juvenile and immature but damn if she wasn’t pouting like a damn two-year-old.
The damn man knew precisely what he was doing to her and she was having serious fantasies
about all the ways she could make
him
suffer.
Even after the mind-blowing orgasm he’d given her, she was restless and on edge. She
needed to come again! That damn plug was driving her insane, and he knew it.
He just sat across the room at his desk, acting like they hadn’t just fucked like
     monkeys on that same desk.
His intercom went off, not an unusual occurrence, and Mia typically ignored him and
focused on whatever task Gabe had set to her for that particular day. But when she
heard what Eleanor said, she immediately tuned in while trying to appear as though
she weren’t paying the slightest bit of attention.
“Mr. Hamilton, uh, Mrs. Hamilton is here to see you, sir.”
Gabe straightened, a frown marring his face. “My mother? Send her in, of course.”
There was a light, uncomfortable cough. “No, sir. She says she’s your wife.”
Mia barely controlled her mouth before it fell open. Wow, that took some balls to
show up at her ex-husband’s office claiming to be Mrs. Hamilton.
“I don’t have a wife,” Gabe said icily.
There was a sigh and Mia felt sorry for Eleanor. This had to be incredibly awkward
     for her.
“She says she won’t leave until you see her, sir.”
    Oh shit.
This couldn’t end well.
She glanced up, expecting Gabe to be furious. But he looked cool and unflappable.
As if his ex-wife coming by his office were an everyday occurrence.
“Give me a minute and send her in,” Gabe said flatly.
He glanced up at Mia. “If you’ll excuse us, please. You can wait with Eleanor or go
     take a break.”
Mia rose, only too glad to be out of his office. The temperature had dropped a good
twenty degrees. She walked as fast as she was able with that damn plug up her ass.
She’d just stepped out the door when Gabe’s ex came down the hall.
Mia had seen her before. She’d seen pictures. Lisa was a beautiful woman. Tall and
elegant without a hair out of place. The perfect wife for a man such as Gabe. She
looked as polished and wealthy as Gabe himself.
They made a striking couple, Mia had to admit. With Lisa’s silver-blond hair and Gabe’s
nearly black hair, they provided a perfect contrast. Lisa’s eyes were a cool green
while Gabe’s were a rich, deep blue.
Lisa walked by her, smiling lightly in Mia’s direction as she passed. It was mortifying
for Mia to be standing there with a plug Gabe had inserted not long before as his
ex-wife paraded by. Her face had to be on fire.
    “Thank you,” Lisa murmured.
Mia shut the door behind her and waffled a moment over the ethics of what she was
     contemplating.
Fuck it. What’s the worst that could happen? Another spanking?
She placed her ear against the door and then glanced nervously down the hall to make
sure no one could see her. She was dyingof curiosity, and okay, maybe she was a teensy bit threatened by Lisa’s visit. It
made her feel insecure and…jealous. She could admit to jealousy regarding the other
woman. After all, she’d had what Mia didn’t and would never have.
    Gabe’s heart.
She listened intently and finally she caught their words as their voices rose.
“I made a mistake, Gabe. Can you not forgive that? Are you willing to turn your back
     on what we had?”
“You were the one who walked out,” he said, his tone so cold that Mia shivered. “That
was your choice. It was also your choice to lie about our relationship and to make
a mockery of everything we shared. I didn’t turn my back on you, Lisa. You turned
     yours on me.”
“I love you,” she said in a softer voice that
