    OTHELLO. O fool, fool, fool!
    CASSIO. There is besides in Roderigo’s letter [325]

    LODOVICO. You must forsake this room, and go with us,
    Â Â Â Â Your power and your command is taken off,
    Â Â Â Â And Cassio rules in Cyprus: for this slave,
    Â Â Â Â If there be any cunning cruelty,
    Â Â Â Â That can torment him much, and hold him long, [ 335]
    Â Â Â Â It shall be his: you shall close prisoner rest,
    Â Â Â Â Till that the nature of your fault be known
    Â Â Â Â To the Venetian state; come, bring him away.
    OTHELLO. Soft you, a word or two:

    LODOVICO. O bloody period!
    G RATIANO. All that’s spoke is marr’d.
    OTHELLO. I kiss’d thee ere I kill’d thee, no way but this,
    Â Â Â Â Killing myself, to die upon a kiss. [360]
    (Falls on the bed, and dies.)
    CASSIO. This did I fear, but thought he had no weapon,
    Â Â Â Â For he was great of heart.
    LODOVICO (to Iago) . O Spartan dog ,
    Â Â Â Â More fell than anguish , hunger, or the sea,
    Â Â Â Â Look on the tragic lodging of this bed:
    Â Â Â Â This is thy work, the object poisons sight, [365]
    Â Â Â Â Let it be hid: Gratiano, keep the house,
    Â Â Â Â And seize upon the fortunes of the Moor,
    Â Â Â Â For they succeed to you: to you, lord governor,
    Â Â Â Â Remains the censure of this hellish villain,
    Â Â Â Â The time, the place, the torture : O, enforce it! [370]
    Â Â Â Â Myself will straight aboard, and to the state
